   My adventure with Discus fish I have started early - I was 10 years old. My first fish - Guppy I have received when
I was 5 or 6. They lived in a big crystal glass sugar bowl and regularly had baby. Since then I have fish constantly
for all my life.

   At the beginning of 70’s when I was 10 years old I was taking a part at aquarium circle for children. The man who run this circle taught us because he received space for his tanks. He taught us how to keep fish but also how to breed them and raise the baby fish. So we cleaned tanks, changed water and learned. I do not remember his name but I know he was really good. He was breeding discus fish. And it was in Moscow in 70’s when most of hobbyist didn’t even seen discus photo. And I was looking at spawning of these fish then. All these equipment, filters, heaters was like a magic. You have to remember that in 70’s pH measuring instrument was like a half of writing desk and heating was made by ourselves woth the glass tube and all carbonate batteries.

   And from the other hand I have already seen discus with the small ones. I guess it was green discus, the wild form.
And these fish charmed me for all my life. It was so different than our guppies and swordtails. I have to say that in this time I wasn’t so novice in fish breeding. I have received a price for spawning of Apistogramma ramirezi. In these time in Russia it was something!

   A lot of time passed, I have moved from Russia to Poland. As many people I came for a while and I stayed till now.
With me came my love for discus. For years I am breeding discus fish. I was keeping different kinds of fish, even pond fish but the discus was always on first place. That is why - discus breeding farm.

   Nowadays breeding farm is a family business. I do not want to be the biggest farm. I want to be a good farm with the high quality fish!

   With the keeping and breeding helps me my wife - Agnieszka. You know women can take care for clean.
Marketing and sales thinks take care my friend - Lukasz. He encouraged me to make this web site and prepared all the things. Without his help it wouldn’t came into existence.
We are happy working with our passion. As I sad we do not want to “produce” huge quantities of fish pour quality.
We want to breed healthy and high quality discus!
